Alright back to Little Miss's summer wardrobe so far I've finished three pieces and am almost done with number four.
I came across this cute skirt tutorial on Hickety Pickety Handmade. http://www.hicketypicketyhandmade.com/2011/01/07/no-hem-skirtits-so-easy/ .
I loved making this skirt, I would have never thought of doing this. Little Miss loves it, seriously I'm shocked she's already pulled it out a couple of times and paired it with fleece pants just so she stays warm enough.
I also bought the Brooke dress pattern off of Etsy from Little Lizard King. Her directions were very easy to follow and I love all the different ways to style the sleeves. It allows me to have so many different options. What's not to love about options am I right or am I right. My girls have been loving on both of the dresses I made from this pattern, I have a feeling I'll be using this one often.
I'm really enjoying this new crafting adventure and someday I hope to have some really mad skills.
I think those outfits look fantastic. The girls love them too. Pretty soon you'll be making prom dresses!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they'll pick bright pink and in your face bold prints for their prom dresses too.
ReplyDeleteBest blog ever.
ReplyDeleteOf course I pike this one too...so funny I looked at what appears to be the same fabric tonight at Joanns!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! I'm really happy I picked it up it washes up so nicely, the girls wear the skirt and tunic dress on a regular basis.
